Death Valley

So Ashley and I were in California and ended up in Death Valley State Park which is an amazing ecosystem that looks like it is straight out of the Middle East. The hottest temperatures we experienced while traveling through the park was 49 degrees celsius, which makes you over heat really quickly (Ashley enjoyed this much more than I did). Some of the sand dunes were very high and we had to hike a bit to see them. The hike in was slightly terrifying as while we were walking along every ten feet or so the dirt would collapse underneath of us and we would step into a hole of some burrowing denizen. It could have been just a mouse but we both were convinced that it belonged to a snake. Anyways some amazing pictures came out of it and I am very happy with them.
